Bot Terms of Service

These are the Terms of Service for the Vertex Automation bot. By inviting or using this bot in your Discord server, you agree to the following conditions. The website is covered by the Vertex Studios Terms of Service.

1. Automated Enforcement & Compliance

• Discord's Terms of Service. The bot and its users must follow Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines at all times.
• Server Rules & Staff. Users are expected to follow each server's rules and the directions of its staff, which the bot helps enforce.
• Data Collection Consent. By using this bot, you allow the collection and use of relevant server and user data for moderation purposes only, as set out in the Bot Privacy Policy.

2. Liability

• No Responsibility for Actions. Vertex Studios is not responsible for any actions taken using the bot's commands, or the outcomes of those commands being run by server staff or users.
• Disclaimer of Warranties. Vertex Automation is provided "as is" and "as available", without any guarantees, warranties or representations about its performance or reliability.
• Limitation of Liability. Vertex Studios is not liable for any damage, data loss or disruption caused if the bot malfunctions or otherwise breaks a server.
• Not Affiliated with Discord. Vertex Automation is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Discord Inc.

3. Service Control & Termination

• Right to Terminate. Vertex Studios can ban specific servers or users from the bot and its services at our sole discretion.
• No Notice Required. Access to the bot can be revoked or suspended at any time, without warning.
• Feature Changes. We can change, update, restrict or remove commands and features at any time.
• Availability. We do not guarantee 100% uptime. The bot may have downtime, maintenance or outages.

4. Acceptable Use

• No API Abuse. Spamming commands or using self-bots to interact with the bot is not allowed.
• No Exploitation. Exploiting bugs, glitches or unintended behaviour to gain an advantage or get around moderation is not allowed.
• No Malicious Activity. The bot must never be used for malicious activity, including server raiding, phishing or harassing other users.
• No Scraping. Data mining, automated scraping or any unauthorised extraction of information from the bot's database or systems is not allowed.
